I booked an overnight stay in Manila Grand Opera Hotel, formerly The Manila Grand Opera House,it is located next door to Doroteo Jose LRT Station. This hotel is a 3 star with a swimming pool as well as Jacuzzi with a wide lobby and on-site dining option Include the Mr. Donuts, Circa Bar & Restaurant and many more.

I arrived at the Manila Grand Opera Hotel around 6am from Olongapo City, but the the standard check in time is 2pm. so I leave my backpack to their concierge and toured around in Manila.

I went back to the hotel around 11:30 and I ask the Front Office if it’s ok to check in early and they allowed me, I wash up and went to Mall of Asia to meet my friend, 5pm when I reached my hotel take a nap and I woke 7pm. I buy some food outside for my dinner and swimming after, I use also their Sauna Room for 15 minutes and because of the sauna I sleep well.

Rooms

My room is a premier double , one thing I like in their room is they have 2 doors before you can see the bed, instead of knocking when have requests they use a door bell and sounds good. The premier room is no window an air-conditioner with a wide work desk and Cable TV , en suite Toilet and Bath with Toiletries, the Mini refrigerator, Coffee & Tea maker  and of course the comfy bed.

Facilities

The Manila Grand Opera Hotel has a 24 hour Swimming pool, Jacuzzi but not operated when I checked in, Sauna Room, Circa 1900 Bar & Restaurant, The New President Sharksfin Seafood Restaurant, Massage Room and The Manila Grand Oriental Casino, Fast WiFi access, 24 hours room Service, Concierge and Laundry Service.

Service

My stay in this hotel was smooth and flawless. The Staff are approachable to your need and request,well trained and it seems everyone knows about the standard operating procedure of the hotel.

I got a good stay experience and probably I’ll be checking in again soon. I woke up early and because breakfast is not included in my booked room, I buy outside and I saw a “Kakanin” different kind of flavored sticky rice. I swim again before I Check out.
