The Balerina Surf Resort | A Place to Stay in Baler, Aurora

I was stuck in Cabanatuan for almost 4 hours as I arrived in the City by 2pm. I'm supposed to arrive in Baler at 5 pm as estimated before I left  Manila, unfortunately by 5:30pm the van left Cabanatuan City. I called Ate Mar, the caretaker of the resort, that I will arrive in Baler past 9pm.

When I arrived in Baler, the husband of Ate Mar picked me up from the terminal with his Habal-habal and offered me a cup of coffee after together with a short conversation before I called it a night. I am their only guest in the next 3 days and I was ashamed because they waited for me until I arrived that it was supposed to be their sleep time.

The Balerina Surf Resort has five cottages available with double decks that is fit for 4 people. Ate mar assigned me in a cottage with a beach view which I really love it. Inside my cottage is a comfortable bed with a stand fan. Heaven.

I woke early and Ate Mar prepared a cup of coffee for me after our long conversation with the topic of love life. After our chitchat, I told her if she knows someone who teaches surfing lessons and she recommended me her nephew, Raniel.

Ate Mar and her family are very approachable and they are much willing to help if you need one. The Balerina Surf Resort is located in barangay Sabang, just about 10 minutes ride from the town of Baler.

I was enjoying the hammock in the morning with a cup of coffee while remembering some memorable moments on the road.

My three day stay in the Resort is not enough as the people are very nice and kind to me.

I was so happy to stay in this resort, to have met Ate Mar and for being my family in Baler.

A Chartered Flight of Philippine Airlines | PR 2242 - Cebu to Kalibo

In the past few years, I’ve been into Philippines Airlines flight across the Philippines, but this is the memorable one, a flight that I’ve never ever expected in my whole travel career.
Back then when I was planning my Zamboanga, Basilan, and Tawi-Tawi travels, I was thinking to escape Manila as my transit airport instead I do use Davao on my onward flight to Zamboanga from Iloilo and Cebu as my return flight to Kalibo. I rush myself going to the airport from Cebu City, I miss the 6:40 pm schedule of Mybus going to Mactan-Cebu International Airport, I ride to the 7 pm schedule instead, I was a little bit nervous since my scheduled flight is 9 pm, I got worried about the traffic that will cause of missing my flight, but I made it I reach the Airport 1 hour before my flight schedule.

The last time I depart/arrive at this airport was in 2011 my 1st ever travel. There's a lot of changes and it more beautiful. I headed straight to the check-in counter to get a boarding pass since I check…
